Questions

Can Roam block websites too?

Yes. On iOS, Roam uses Apple Screen Time and Family Controls to select Apps & Websites. On Android, you enter website domains. A local VPN DNS filter blocks selected sites in browsers and apps that use system DNS while blocking is active.

How is this different from a normal screen-time timer?

Roam follows your routines. Choose Focus Zones, Blocked Schedules and the Apps & Websites that distract you there. Blocks start when you arrive and stop when you leave.

What stops me from just turning blocks off when I'm tempted?

Temporary Unblock gives you a short break when you need one. Challenge codes slow down bigger changes, so you pause before opening a distracting app or website.

Can I use this for work, school, or a library instead of home?

Yes. Add a Focus Zone at an office, campus, library, studio, home office or anywhere you need focus. Each Focus Zone has its own Apps & Websites rules.

Does Roam track my location all day?

No. Roam uses OS-level geofencing to wake when you cross a Focus Zone boundary. Your Focus Zones and rules stay on your device. Roam does not sell your location data.

Is this parental monitoring or workplace surveillance?

No. Roam is for people setting their own focus boundaries. It is not built for parental monitoring, employer control, surveillance or screen-time analytics.
